Ugly Aussies

I used to be an Aussie fan but a series of incidents during the test match has forced me to think differently.

1) Ponting : who refused to walk when caught behind, acts like the judge to indicate Saurav was out. The same Clarke stood his ground when he edged to Dravid. Maybe Clarke hoped Bucknor would give him not out for some reason.

2) Gilchrist : the walker : heard a nick when the ball just past with a healthy distance from Dravid's bat as India battled to save the match. Gilchrist loses all the goodwill he may have accumulated over the years.

3) Symonds charging Bhajji for racial abuse. Aussies who advoated some time back that what happened on the field should remain on the field, now are the big cry babies who take stuff to the match refree. Small detail was that Bhajji and Sachin had the Aussies on the mat at that time, and this was the best way they saw to thwart India.

If Aussies are so desperate to win , they should play againt a Australia A side (as they did some years back an the ODI series). Would make them happy to win all the time.
